It has been already 40 years since, in 1977, brothers Enzo and Roberto Catellani gave life to Puntoluce, a space in the centre of the city of Bergamo where to sell not just lamps, but light. The study of the logo and the corporate identity are entrusted to Enrico Baleri, renowned designer and entrepreneur from Bergamo. These were years of great ferment in the world of industrial design, years when the lamps designed by Magistretti, Scarpa, Castiglioni (guest of Puntoluce) are consecrated permanently as symbol of the great Italian design. The Catellani’s brothers decided to approach this reality becoming distributors of the most important Italian lighting brands such as Flos, Artemide, Fontana Arte, Oluce. Even the exposure, expertly designed by Baleri, reflects this choice through a clean and modern approach, distinguishing itself from contemporary chandeliers stores, full of glass, fabric lampshades, chains and crystal drops.
